What are you going to do

As a working student Software Engineer at a dynamic Fintech organization, you'll gain practical experience in the financial technology sector by supporting the development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. Your role involves actively participating in the entire software development process, including developing new features, optimizing existing code, and testing software products. Additionally, you're encouraged to document code, processes, and procedures, fostering clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team. The agile development principles of the working environment provide opportunities to develop technical skills and gain a deep understanding of collaboration within a professional software development team

What you’ll need

The ideal candidate for the role of working student Software Engineer must be currently enrolled as a Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field. They should possess understanding of programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Python, or JavaScript and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, particularly within the field of financial technology. Additionally, candidates must be fluent in both English and Dutch, have excellent communication skills, and have a proactive attitude. The ability to work independently and in a team, contributing effectively to projects, is essential. The candidate is required to be available for at least two days a week, working from our Rotterdam office on Fridays, and working remotely during the other day(s).

Master's student in relevant fields

Experienced in Kotlin and/or React

Willingness to learn new technologies

Fluent in English and Dutch

Available for a minimum of two days/week
